We become blessed when we perceive God’s love and display love back towards God. God forgives us because we repent and change our sinful ways. “And he (Yeshua/Jesus) turned to the woman, and said unto Simon, ‘Seest thou this woman? I entered into thine house, thou gavest me no water for my feet: but she hath washed my feet with tears, and wiped them with the hairs of her head. Thou gavest me no kiss: but this woman since the time I came in hath not ceased to kiss my feet. My head with oil thou didst not anoint: but this woman hath anointed my feet with ointment. Wherefore I say unto thee, Her sins, which are many, are forgiven; for she loved much: but to whom little is forgiven, the same loveth little. And he said unto her, Thy sins are forgiven. ‘ ” (Luke 7:44-48) Why did Yeshua use this woman as an example of love for God? How do you exhibit love for God?
Faith in God blesses us with peace; we no longer need to fear death. Grace is what God does for us by sending Yeshua to pay our death penalty; faith is what we do to gain salvation. Without faith it is impossible to please God, but with faith in God we can please Him–Hebrews 11:6. And he (Yeshua) said to the woman, Thy faith hath saved thee; go in peace. (Luke 7:50)
You’re blessed when you listen and grow with assistance From the Holy Spirit. Allow the words of God to bare fruit in your life with patience (to perfection)–Galatians 5:22-23. “And other (referring to the word of God) fell on good ground, and sprang up, and bare fruit an hundredfold. And when he (Yeshua) had said these things, he cried, He that hath ears to hear, let him hear.” (Luke 8:8) When you believe what you hear (the untarnished gospel unto salvation), you are sealed with the gift of God’s Holy Spirit–Ephesians 1:13. You should grow into the character of Yeshua with the aid of God’s Holy Spirit–displaying love, joy, peace, patience and long suffering.
You’re blessed if you do not take offense in God’s words. “Do no allow anything that God says to offend you. And blessed is he, whosoever shall not be offended in me.” (Luke 7:23) I believe the mark of the beast is to reject God. We can reject God both by the actions (physically) of our hands or with our head (thoughts). When you reject God, you reject all things good, life and truth. (John 6:54) Whoso eateth my flesh, and drinketh my blood, hath eternal life; and I will raise him up at the last day. (John 6:61) When Jesus knew in himself that his disciples murmured at it, he said unto them, Doth this offend you? (John 6:66 says, ” From that time many of his disciples went back, and walked no more with him.” They rejected what God said. They were offended walked away from God: the tree of life–Revelation 22:2. God is our healer, and you are blessed when you accept Him.
When you accept God the life giver, you possess life living in you. You become the light of the world shining God through you. Others should see your light (the Word of God) illuminating your life. David said in the Psalms 119:105: “Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path.” Let your light shine (the word of God). Luke 8:16-17 says, “No man, when he hath lighted a candle, covereth it with a vessel, or putteth it under a bed; but setteth it on a candlestick, that they which enter in may see the light. For nothing is secret, that shall not be made manifest; neither any thing hid, that shall not be known and come abroad.”
God will bless you with even greater understanding of His words when you stand firm on what you know and let His words shine for others to see. Take heed therefore how ye hear: for whosoever hath (stand firm on God’s words), to him shall be given; and whosoever hath not (reject God’s words), from him shall be taken even that which he seemeth to have.” (Luke 8:18) Read God’s word and obey, and God will bless you with more knowledge of His word.
When you acknowledge God, He will acknowledge you and grant you eternal life in the kingdom of heaven with Him. Yeshua (Jesus) says the following: “Therefore everyone who confesses Me before men, I will also confess him before My Father who is in heaven. But whoever denies Me before men, I will also deny him before My Father who is in heaven.” (Matthew 10:32-33)
