Christians don’t need to let the problems of the world trouble them; however, we as Christians and as children of Yahweh need to watch and stay prepared. First Matthew 24:6-8 states,
“You will hear of wars and rumors of wars. See that you are not troubled. … For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. There will be famines, epidemics, and earthquakes in various places. All these are the beginning of sorrows.”
Here is a timeline of some wars: Timeline of Wars. These demonstrate the pains that the world will endure.
Famine occurred in many parts of our world and continues.
Great Famine of 1315–17 Famine regularly struck Europe during medieval times.
Many epidemics hit the United States and world such as polio, Aids, cholera, flu, tuberculosis, etc.
Secondly Matthew 24:9 says “Then shall they deliver you up to be afflicted, and shall kill you: and ye shall be hated of all nations for my name’s sake.”
Deuteronomy 28:68 says, “And the Lord shall bring thee into Egypt again with ships, by the way whereof I spake unto thee, Thou shalt see it no more again: and there ye shall be sold unto your enemies for bondmen and bondwomen, and no man shall buy you.”
African Hebrews captured, taken into ships to a foreign land, hated, split up to the four corners of the earth like the Bible prophesied. The ramification of lawlessness resulted in so much pain and sorrow today like in the past.

10 And then shall many be offended, and shall betray one another, and shall hate one another. Matt. 24:10
Many Christians disagree with things done around us and in our world. Dissension exist between members in churches, within families and community. There exist deceitful counselors and members of the clergy who love money, power and fame.
11 And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many.
Many trendsetters will mislead many for the love of lawlessness more than the love of Yahweh.
12 And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold.
People will find themselves led astray walking in darkness. We must, instead, walk in the spirit of love and truth.
13 But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.
Satan infiltrates the churches and false teachers. Nevertheless, the gospel goes forth.
Has the Gospel Been Preached to the Whole World Yet? Does the whole world mean every single individual or nation or continent?
God’s children see the signs of the time and reason wisely for themselves, understand the end approaches rapidly and remain on course faithful to Yahweh. There number one priority remains doing God’s will.
14 And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come.
I believe the Christian gospel reached every major nation on the earth. Iranians spread the gospel in their nation. In the face of forceful victimization, revival blossoms in Iran (among the Persian people)–The Gospel In Persia: Despite Persecution, Revival In Iran continues! Other difficult places include China, Cuba, North Korea and on the continent of Africa—‘Not Forgotten’: The Top 50 Countries Where It’s Most Difficult To Be A Christian. Russia recently placed a ban restricting Christians from evangelizing outside their churches–Russia’s Ban on Evangelism Is Now in Effect. Permits needed by missionaries, and house churches are not sanctioned. We race towards the end at a swift pace like a woman in labor getting progressively awful as the time draws near Yeshua’s return.
What should we look for as the world spins more and more out of control. Where killings occur daily. Some stand up and fight against injustices they see around them: police brutality, killing indiscriminately of police officers due to emotional breakdown caused by lawlessness, civilians bombed around the world, homicides, suicides, poverty leading to violence, drug abuse, pharmaceuticals to mass emotional and/or physical pain, and so many other ailments caused by sin in our world—drone attacks.
We can’t choose to continue to ignore the signs or we will be left unprepared. I believe we near the end of this present world stretching beyond the beginning of sorrows, midst of sorrows into the end of sorrows– via the intervention of Yeshua (Jesus) to prevent our self-destruction.
