Yahweh sent His Son to pay our penalty of sin against Him.  We sinned against God in His kingdom and walked away from Him choosing to set our own rules for our lives.  So God separated us from Himself to separate Himself from sin.  He sent His Son Jesus to handle the problem of sin that entered our existence and to help us eradicate this virus of sin.  Yeshua (Jesus) sent from God possess the power to cleanse us from this plague and to reunite us once again with Yahweh.  The question He ask each of us is the following: Do you want to be well?

I try to recall what made me walk out of the kingdom and forsake God in the first place and acquire this ailment called sin.  I know what the Bible says, but I cannot recall this memory with Yahweh.  I can just trust God’s words to me in the Bible.  I am the prodigal child that left God’s kingdom and walked out the door doubting my Father.  Now I discovered I want to return to my Creator.  How do I get back to my Father’s door to say I am sorry and ask to return.  I am now lost due to sin.  I don’t know my way home.  God actually barred me from His presence because I corrupted myself by sinning against Him.

The truth is simple.  We can talk to God.  He is near each of us in spirit through the power of His Holy Spirit.  He sent down the Holy Spirit to help us and lead us back to Him. We need to submit ourselves to His way of love, accept that we made a huge mistake rejecting God’s rules of love and ask God to help us keep His loving laws of love both for Him and our neighbor.

Who is our neighbor?  Why must we love them?  Why is love so important to God?  How do we love God? What are the consequences for those who refuse to return to the ways of love established by God?

Those who do not show love to God and their brothers, God will ultimately destroy.  God will not lovingly accept sinners into His perfectly sinless kingdom.

Isaiah 66:15 For behold, the LORD will come in fire And His chariots like the whirlwind, To render His anger with fury, And His rebuke with flames of fire

Not everyone who God created will God accept into His kingdom.  He will not except those who fail to love and refuse to walk in love.  We also, should not tolerate those who refuse to exhibit compassion, mercy and love.  Should we realistically extend our hand of love to Satan or those that seek after evil (his children)?  We should show love to those that are within our family and those that are of the household of God.  We must operate wisely in this world to make it into the kingdom.

 Luke 13:24-28

“Strive to enter through the narrow door; for many, I tell you, will seek to enter and will not be able. “Once the head of the house gets up and shuts the door, and you begin to stand outside and knock on the door, saying, ‘Lord, open up to us!’ then He will answer and say to you, ‘I do not know where you are from.’ “Then you will begin to say, ‘We ate and drank in Your presence, and You taught in our streets’; read more. and He will say, ‘I tell you, I do not know where you are from; DEPART FROM ME, ALL YOU EVILDOERS.’ “In that place there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth when you see Abraham and Isaac and Jacob and all the prophets in the kingdom of God, but yourselves being thrown out.

We must operate with the wisdom from above and walk in love towards both God and our brethren or neighbors.  We should not accept those who practice evil.  God does not expect us to show love towards those who will use us, abuse us and manipulate us for their gain and our loss.  Remember, love is wise.  Does God call the wicked his children or welcome them into His heavenly kingdom?  God locks them out and says in Luke 13:27 the following:

“Depart from Me, all you evildoers.”

We look to Yeshua (Jesus) to guide our steps and follow in His example set forth in His words to us. Your neighbor is a part of the God family and exhibits the characteristics of the family: love.  The early churches discovered this unique love for one another; they addressed each other as neighbors.

Knowing your neighbor and loving your neighbor as yourself is awesome.  Knowing and loving God is the key to the kingdom.  You  won’t find yourself knocking when this physical life ends because you will possess the key to the kingdom: the Holy Spirit of God living within you!

Romans 8:11 But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you.
