Physically Crushed But Spiritually Strengthened
What happened when my tangerine fell out the fridge? I unknowingly attempted to close the door crushing open the tangerine. I pulled the fridge door open to see why the door wouldn’t close. I noticed a crushed tangerine split open stuck between the refrigerator door and the refrigerator.
I wondered is that sort of what it feels like when God allows Satan to crush us? I thought of Christ death at Calvary. I suddenly understood a lesson God wanted me to see: In walking with Christ, we become pressed into His character.
When we repent and become baptized, the catalytic crushing process begins.
Powered By The Holy Spirit
Despite the challenges we face, we possess God’s Holy Spirit. Jesus lives within us guiding us through His Holy Spirit. We get a handle on bitterness, anger, jealousy, envy and all the things that do not a reflect Christ’s (Yeshua’s) character.
God says whom the Son sets free is free indeed.
For humans this conquering of the flesh seems impossible when led by their flesh. I’ve discovered that the Holy Spirit breaks this bondage to sin for us and enables us to become slaves to righteousness. He writes God’s laws in our hearts. Thus, we seek after righteousness. God says whom the Son sets free (from sin and death) is free indeed (to live with God eternally).
Jesus, also, said “My ways are higher than your ways.” We must trust God with our lives.
Jesus still gives believers the promise He gave to Abraham. This gift is the promise of eternal life through the Holy Spirit.
Returning to the kingdom is not an easy journey. Jesus came enlightening the way. He took thirty-three years after leaving the kingdom to return. He completed His mission God gave Him. He died for the sins of humanity.
When He returned to the kingdom with many eyes watching Him rise into the clouds, He sent the promise of the Holy Spirit down to earth to help believers to return to the kingdom and gain eternal life.
Crushing Hopefully Causes Us To Cry Out To God
God sent Yeshua (Jesus) to die for our sins. He sent us to die to our flesh and selfishness.
Unless the seed is buried and changed, the plant cannot grow. Likewise unless the fleshly person is crushed and dies, the spiritual woman or man cannot grow and thrive via the Holy Spirit.
He continuously knocks at the door of our hearts. Would you let Him in when you realize that all of what you are and what you do cannot solve your sin problem? When you are at your wits end, don’t think of suicide or homicide think of Him. Don’t let the burdens of life crush you, you instead should turn, repent, trust and cry out to Him on your knees!
We must reject sin in all known areas in our lives.
The Holy Spirit will shine a light on sin within us and convict us. We must surrender to the will of God for our lives. We must desire to extinguish all sins out of our lives.
I learned that this takes extraordinary supernatural powers that comes only from God.
I learned to repent of all my sins and the importance of giving God complete control over my life to remove all traces of sin.
My relationship with God developed at a deeper level. I came to know without a shadow of a doubt that God truly loves me, God is near to me, lives within me, God will never leave me nor forsake me and God has a kingdom a place without sin where love for God and love for our brethren prevail supreme–a place of love, joy, beauty and perfection.
But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him. I Corinthians 2:9
