Yeshua died to pay the penalty for our freedom.  Those of us who understand what Yeshua did for us also understand the importance of fleeing sin.  We understand what sin is and we understand that Yahweh’s Ten Commandments define sin for us.  Once we come to an understanding of how repulsive sin truly is to Yahweh, we come to detest sin too!  We cannot continue to walk in sin (breaking Yahweh’s Ten Commandments) and say we know God and love God–absolutely ridiculous!

However, Satan would love for you to believe it is okay to continue to walk in sin until you walk into the kingdom of Yahweh.  Those who believe this lie are in for a rude awakening when they appear before Yahweh on judgement day.  Luke 13:27 says, “But he shall say, I tell you, I know you not whence ye are; depart from me, all ye workers of iniquity.”  Yahweh will not accept wrongdoing: sin!

Sin is what originally caused our separation from Yahweh.

John defines what sin is: the breaking of Yahweh’s Ten Commandments.  The Holy Spirit now writes the Ten Royal Commandments of love in believers hearts and minds by the Holy Spirit given to believers who obey His Ten Commandments.  We can possess the character of Yahweh when we receive Yahweh’s Holy Spirit.

21 He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me: and he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him. (John 14:21 KJV)

Has the king of our universe revealed Himself to you to let you know He lives and abides in you?  Is He directing your footsteps as He directed Yeshua here on this earth?  Are you in the will of Yahweh?  Do you know His will for your life?  These are important questions that every child of Yahweh should know the answers to without reservations if they know Yahweh.  If not, please ponder these questions and ask Yahweh to reveal the answer to you–daily ask Yahweh for wisdom.

We may know about Yahweh from sitting in church and reading our Bibles, but many of you reading this may not personally know Yahweh!  That’s okay, you can get to know Him.

Those who truly know Yahweh and walk with Yahweh, reject sin in their lives.  They hear His still small voice and obey Him because they know Him.  They ask Yahweh to help them to empower them by the power of His Holy Spirit to overcome sin in their lives.

I know I pray often asking Yahweh to empower my life and to help me do His will daily through the power of His Holy Spirit; I give Yahweh one hundred percent control over my life to complete His will for me each day.

Would you like to know Yahweh personally and know that He is guiding your footsteps?

Life is so much easier when you can turn to Yahweh in times of need.

Listen to what King David said in Psalm 51:1-7 below:

Have mercy upon me, O God, according to thy lovingkindness: according unto the multitude of thy tender mercies blot out my transgressions.

2 Wash me thoroughly from mine iniquity, and cleanse me from my sin.

3 For I acknowledge my transgressions: and my sin is ever before me.

4 Against thee, thee only, have I sinned, and done this evil in thy sight: that thou mightest be justified when thou speakest, and be clear when thou judgest.

5 Behold, I was shapen in iniquity; and in sin did my mother conceive me.

6 Behold, thou desirest truth in the inward parts: and in the hidden part thou shalt make me to know wisdom.

7 Purge me with hyssop, and I shall be clean: wash me, and I shall be whiter than snow.

Would you like to be washed clean today like King David?

Pray and ask the Lord to have mercy on you and to blot out your transgressions, ask Him clean you from all your sins, tell Him you have sinned against Him and only Him and done evil in His sight, ask Him to make you know wisdom and purge you and wash you clean and make you to be whiter than snow.  Study King David’s prayer and offer your own sincere version from the heart. What God did for King David, He will surely do for you. David was a cold blooded murder and adulterous among other things, but Yahweh loved Him and forgave Him and washed Him clean.  He will do the same for you if you are sincere as David was remorseful for His many sins against Yahweh.

How does fleeing sin benefit you?  It may appear like an insurmountable mountain in your life.  You, however, won’t truly know and experience the benefits until you reject sin and choose life in obedience to God.

You will then come to understand that peace is possible through faith in Yahweh.  Both faith and obedience  with the help of Yahweh’s Spirit helps us to overcome challenges that come to each of us in this life.

When you know the King and fear disobeying Him, you really do not fear what challenges may come.  You begin to become fearless as you observe Yahweh work out obstacles in your life and break you free from your old life of sin, misery, pain, fear and a lifestyle leading to death.

Sure you will have stresses and uncertainties at times, but you have Yahweh to turn to who will hear you and help you.  You also have the Comforter who will teach you all things pertaining to life and Yahweh.  Eventually you become more and more fearless knowing Yahweh is with you, and He will never leave you or forsake you.

Perfect peace have those who love Yahweh’s laws (Ten Commandments) based on love.  God’s laws of love make life worth living.  If love (God’s Royal Laws) failed to exist, we would eventually suffer and die a miserable death.

Satan wants exactly that!  So he lies to Christians and all of us constantly telling us that we cannot overcome sins (mountains) in our lives.  What does Yahweh say? We must reject sin and live.  Joseph fled sin.  Abraham was considered a friend of God because he did what was right in the eyes of God.  Abraham obeyed God’s commandments, His statutes and His laws.

Let’s look at what the Apostle James had to say who was the brother of Yeshua and the head of the church in James 2:17-26 about the importance of doing good works in obedience along with faith in Yahweh below:

17 Even so faith, if it hath not works, is dead, being alone.

18 Yea, a man may say, Thou hast faith, and I have works: shew me thy faith without thy works, and I will shew thee my faith by my works.

19 Thou believest that there is one God; thou doest well: the devils also believe, and tremble.

20 But wilt thou know, O vain man, that faith without works is dead?

21 Was not Abraham our father justified by works, when he had offered Isaac his son upon the altar?

22 Seest thou how faith wrought with his works, and by works was faith made perfect?

23 And the scripture was fulfilled which saith, Abraham believed God, and it was imputed unto him for righteousness: and he was called the Friend of God.

24 Ye see then how that by works a man is justified, and not by faith only.

25 Likewise also was not Rahab the harlot justified by works, when she had received the messengers, and had sent them out another way?

26 For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also.

Wouldn’t you like to have Yahweh as your friend as Abraham had God as His friend?  Obedience is truly the key that unlocks the door back into the kingdom of Yahweh: our Eden or our Heavenly Home!

Satan wants to destroy you and living in sin will lead ultimately to your destruction and continual separation from God!

Yeshua came to pay the price of your sin so you should walk away from your sinful lifestyle, repent of your sin against Yahweh like King David and ask Yahweh to help you overcome all sin in your life.  You cannot know Yahweh if you do not understand His ultimate goal and plan for your life.

He wants to set you free from sin, pain, death suffering and Satan, and He wants to give you the free gift of eternal life–bought and payed for by the blood of Yeshua at Calvary!  He’s not going to force His will on you.  He knocks at the door of your heart, but you and only you can let Him in.  If you listen and obey Him, He will set you from sin and the fear of death.

Now that freedom comes at a cost.  Yeshua had to pay the price with His life to set you free from bondage to sin.  You must freely accept this free gift, repent for your sin against God and beg Yahweh to help you to walk righteously before Him the rest of your life.  Whom the Son sets free from Satan and sin is truly free indeed!

You, however, are not free to continue to walk in sin–presumptuous sin will lead to death!  Yeshua isn’t going to die again for you.

What did Paul say in Romans 6: 1-2 about continuing to live in sin once Yeshua’s blood has set you free from sin and death?

What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound?

2 God forbid. How shall we, that are dead to sin, live any longer therein?

Paul is clear that we set free should not return to our sinful lifestyles.

Do not be like the sick dog who returns to his vomit.  Once you understand sin will destroy you, you should flee sin.  Yahweh sets you free from bondage to sin and washes you clean so please do not return to the mess of sin.  Solomon the wisest man that ever lived once said in Proverbs 26:11 the following:

As a dog returns to its vomit, so a fool repeats his foolishness.

Once you come to know the truth about the destructive nature of sin, please do not return to your sinful lifestyle that leads ultimately to death.

You should walk in newness of life and teach others how to escape sin, suffering and death too.  We are ambassadors sent by Yahweh to help others overcome sin and the penalty of sin: death.  Let’s become the salt of the earth and light that lead others to the true light (Yeshua the only way back into the kingdom of Yahweh).  So, they can find true freedom in knowing Yahweh who loves us so much!

The beloved apostle John was Yeshua’s favorite apostle.  He left John to care for His mother just before He died on Calvary.  John loved Yeshua very much, and Yeshua loved John.  This is what John teaches that Yeshua taught Him to teach to us.

12 Verily, verily, (truly, truly) I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father.

13 And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son.

14 If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it.

15 If ye love me, keep my commandments.

16 And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever; (John 14:12-16)

That Comforter known as the Holy Spirit of Yahweh will write Yahweh’s character in your heart and mind so you reflect Yeshua and Yahweh.  They will come to live within you and teach you all things.

What I write about I know because of my personal walk with Yahweh over the years.  Yahweh has led me through many storms, I’ve past through spiritual fires, I’ve walked through the valley of the shadow of death.  I’ve heard Yahweh’s still small voice more than I can recall.  There is so much beauty and peace when you come to know Yahweh.  There is freedom from the bondage of sin; there is freedom with the Spirit of Yahweh living within you.  True freedom comes at a high price for us sinners saved by grace.  Let’s not continue to walk in sin.  It is sin that separates us from our God.  Flee sin and live through the power of Yahweh’s Holy Spirit.  Listen to the Father of lights who tells us to obey Him and accept His Royal Laws of Love so we do not sin against Him or our brothers and sister’s in Yeshua.

Like a cat hates water, you ought hate sin!

John 14:14 was one of my grandfather’s favorite verse in the Bible–quote it often and be blessed!

14 If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it.

Ask Yahweh to free you from all sin in your life and rest assured He will.  Have a little faith for faith can move the mountains that separate you from your God!  The truth shall set you free so hear these truths, receive them and receive the gift of eternal life by renouncing and eliminating sin against Yahweh from your life with His help–a sincere prayer goes a very long way!

True freedom from sin with the help of Yahweh’s Holy Spirit the Comforter awaits you!

You are no longer ignorant.  You know the truth; you are no longer blind.  So open your spiritual eyes and see the truth and walk in truth and in newness of life by the power of Yahweh’s Holy Spirit empowering you from within.

When Paul was going out to kill the Christians, He was struck down blind.  God winks at the ignorant.  God had to blind Paul’s physical eyes so he could use his spiritual eyes to see the truth.

Romans 8:9-11  (KJV)

9 But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his.

10 And if Christ be in you, the body is dead because of sin; but the Spirit is life because of righteousness.

11 But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus (Yeshua) from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you.
